RRB ALP Bank Account Modification
In a sub-article of the official notification, CEN 01/2018 RRB announced various new updates. RRB ALP Bank Account Modification can be done on the official website of RRB. Candidates who have appeared in the RRB ALP & Technician CBT Examination will receive Application Fee refund. The SC and ST and OBC Category Candidate will be receiving Rs 250 from the total application fee of Rs 250 and General candidates will receive Rs 400 as a refund from the total Application Fee of Rs 500. Candidates had filled in their Bank Details at the time of Filling the Application Form. For the Refund of this application fee, RRB ALP Application Modification is allowed from 22nd September 2018 to 1st October 2018.

Steps to RRB ALP Modification of Bank Details
RRB has activated a link to Modify RRB ALP Bank Details from 22nd September 2018 to 1st October 2018. Once RRB ALP Bank Account modification is done, no changes could be done so it is advised to select RRB, Railway/Unit, options for Posts, Exam Trade and Account Details carefully. The following steps can be taken to Modify RRB ALP Bank Details.
- Visit the official website of the RRB.
- Submit your login details.
- Select the option of “Modify Account“.
- Candidates would receive the OTP on the registered Phone Number/ Email.
- Submit the OTP when asked.
- Modify the Bank Account details like Beneficiary Name, Bank IFSC Code, Account Number.

Selection of RRB and Post Priority Options
Candidates who have appeared for the ALP & Technician Post had not selected the Regional RRB. So, in the recent modification opportunity, candidates would be able to select the Regional RRB and fill in the option of Railway Unit accordingly. All the candidates who have appeared in the 1st stage CBT have to select the RRB and priority of options for Railway/Production unit & posts failing which their candidature will not be considered for shortlisting for 2nd stage CBT. Candidates are advised to read the notification released as an extension of CEN 01/2018.
Modification in Exam Trade with RRB ALP Bank Account Modification
During the Application Filling procedure, candidates had selected multiple Exam Trade based on various eligibility criteria. For candidates to appear in only one Exam Trade in Part “B” of ALP CBT Stage 2 Examination, during this Modification they can modify the Exam Trade. It is important that the candidate fills in the Exam Trade they are interested and eligible to apply in. If the candidate fails to submit a choice of Exam Trade they will not be allowed to appear in RRB ALP & Technician CBT Stage 2 Examination.
As according to the notification, RRB declared, ” candidates who have opted for more than one exam trade in view of their multiple qualifications will be given an opportunity to select only one exam trade of their choice. candidates who have chosen single exam trade in their application to change their exam trade from among the relevant trades of their qualification in case they wish to change the exam trade. For candidates with only ITI/NAC qualification, the exam trade shall be their ITI/NAC trade given in the application and cannot be changed.”
